A few things to consider when choosing an item

Prioritise quality over quantity. Ask yourself about the real value of the item being offered.

It's not simply about offering a nice item. Our items must show the client that we have carefully selected this gift and that it will remain useful. The eco-responsible dimension of the item is an important factor in the choice.

The promotional item is there to create attachment to the brand and its values, not to promote a service, an application or a product.

An item should not be produced if it is only used once or for a short period.

Reminder: Items intended for internal use follow the same rules as those intended for our clients.

An item why not, but matching our personality: approachable, simple, positive, bold and taking CSR criteria into account.

Purchasing, our CSR approach

Our eco-responsible commitment must be reflected in our choices regarding promotional items.

1. Thinking carefully about the choice of promotional items

Less is more: prioritise quality over quantity. Ask yourself about the real value of the promotional item being offered.

Favour eco-responsible materials, hybrid and/or reusable products.

Mark items with a lasting message, usable across several events and highlighting the item's eco-design.

Anticipate and/or organise the recycling aspect of our goodies: the tap-tap noisemakers given out at a football match could be collected through a recovery system for recycling.

2. Thinking about the goodies distribution strategy

Sourcing: depending on manufacturers' capabilities, select sourcing locations close to the recipient, to reduce costs and the environmental impact linked to transport, and to favour local employment.

Develop the circular economy and inclusive goodies (made by Fab Labs, sheltered workshops or through Upcycling, project under development).

* The place of production, the materials and transport are criteria taken into account.

** Some countries have already adopted a sustainable approach to goodies, either by distributing only a few durable items, or by locally consolidating a sustainable merchandising catalogue

The impact index

Our CSR commitment leads to a selection of promotional items with minimal environmental impact. The goal of the impact index is to highlight local, responsible and/or certified items by being as transparent as possible with you.

Our products are assessed according to 3 criteria:

  • Place of production
  • Durability and usefulness
  • Eco-design and certifications

All these criteria give a certain number of points between 0 and 5 clovers. A product with 0 clovers is an item with no eco-responsible characteristics, while a product with 5 clovers combines several criteria, such as local sourcing, design from eco-designed or natural materials, and the ability to stand out positively and usefully.

Our goal is to offer only products with a minimum of 3 clovers in the shop, then progress year by year to offer, by 2025, only products with more than 4 clovers.
